What Trip Rescue saves, who handles it, and how to delete it.
What you save
When you log a pickup or delivery, Trip Rescue stores your typed note, the time, and the phone's location pin and reported accuracy. It also stores stop start and finish times, pickup-to-delivery links, multi run grouping, a Google place ID when a place is found, and any name or address you confirm or correct. These records are tied to your signed-in account and are not shown to other drivers.
The driver app does not ask you to upload photos or record a continuous route. It requests a current location when you confirm each pickup or delivery. Your iPhone and browser control the location permission. Like most websites, its hosting and sign-in services also process basic request information, such as an IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the service.
Services that handle information
- Cloudflare hosts Trip Rescue and stores your stop record.
- Clerk handles sign-in. We store your account email and account identifier so your stops remain separate from other drivers' stops.
- Google Maps receives the place or street text you entered and that note's phone pin for a nearby-place lookup. Trip Rescue saves the place ID when a match is found. If you open Get details, it requests the address for that place. A name and address you confirm or correct can then be saved with your stop. Google handles information under its Privacy Policy.
- Stripe handles card entry, checkout, and subscription management. Trip Rescue stores subscription status and Stripe customer and subscription references. We do not store your card number.
If you copy a stop and paste it into another service, that service's privacy rules apply to the copy you send.
How we use it
We use account and stop information to save and show your records, help you find a stop, run place lookup when requested by the app, manage access and billing, respond to support requests, and protect the service. Authorized operators may access stored information when needed for support, security, or legal obligations. The manager screen shows member email and subscription status. We do not sell driver stop records or use them for advertising.
Deleting records
We keep stop records while your account exists unless you delete finished stops or request account-data deletion. Deleting a finished stop removes it from your Trip Rescue driver record. If the stop's pickup is linked to a delivery in another stop, delete that delivery stop first. The driver app does not make a separate stop-history backup. Ending a subscription does not itself delete saved stops.
To request deletion of your account data, email hello@mytriprescue.com from your account email. Deletion in Trip Rescue cannot undo a copy you already sent elsewhere, and providers may retain records they need for payments, security, or legal obligations.
